February 13th update: lots of movement this week as teams get cracking once again post-All Star break. We're entering the final stretch towards the playoffs, with many fantasy trade deadlines approaching. Time to take stock.

February 11th update: first post-All Star update. Lots of movement in the bottom half of the board. Plenty of quality blueliners this year that could fit into that last 10 to 15 spots - expect there to be a fairly regular carousel of defensemen on and off the board.

With the NHL trade deadline on the horizon, here are 10 players who could be good adds ahead of the action.

Feb 9th update: First post-All Star update. Lots of shuffling - Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask planning to retire; contender tandems to keep an eye on; several goalies on bottomfeeder teams are turning the corner and more!

Feb 4th update: Our latest top 50 defensemen rankings as we enter the All Star break and prepare for the final stretch of the fantasy hockey regular season. NEW FEATURE: each player's points floor and ceiling are now listed - these are the best and worst case scenarios for each player, if they were to be relatively healthy throughout the NHL season.

February 3rd update: first crack at the forwards this month. New rankings format shows player's projected points floor and upside to help you make those tough fantasy hockey decisions.

Jan 27th update: We'll be keeping an especially close eye on the Blues, Avalanche, Bruins, Stars and Capitals this week. As is always the case with NHL goalies, there are wild swings in who controls the crease. This is especially true in 1A/1B tandems, but also where a highly touted young goalie pops onto the scene. Enjoy!

Jan 26th update: line shuffling gives top Bruins a boost, Malkin's return, Kreider's meteoric rise and more in this edition of the top 50 fantasy hockey defensemen.

Jan 26nd update: A quick Wednesday rankings tweak. Once again a fairly stable top 25 or so, and a fairly chaotic bottom half. Enjoy!

Jan 21st update: Another update this week as goalie tandem dynamics continue to evolve. Colorado and Boston are two situations worth monitoring closely.

Jan 18th update: There seems to be a fairly solidified top tier in the fantasy hockey defensemen world: from Makar to Hughes, the top guys are, at least in our opinion, the top guys. Enjoy!

Jan 11th update: Kadri gets another bump, and honestly, it'll be hard to keep him from rising further if he keeps it up. Lots of young talent creeping up the list as well: Meier, Zegras, Kyrou, Robertson, Terry, Thomas and others continue to demonstrate their top 100 value.

Jan 18th update: Sergei Bobrovsky is the big riser in this rankings update, with Spencer Knight far in the rearview - at least for now. Bob has had an up and down career - but the ups are pretty solid.

Jan 11th update: first goalie rankings of 2022. With Tuukka Rask's return imminent, the crease gets a bit more complicated in Boston. Linus Ullmark likely isn't going anywhere and Jeremy Swayman looms, so starts may be split early on. Rask's upside is obviously high, but his workhorse value may be capped for a while as he gets into game shape.

Jan 11th update: Lots of movement around the middle of the board in this update. It's awfully hard to keep Kadri down, but I still believe he's playing above what should be expected moving forward. He rises to 47 for now. Enjoy!
